Liverpool Football Club’s LFC star dies after suffering cardiac arrest

Liverpool Football Player Steven Gerrard, 28, has died in hospital, his family have confirmed.

Mr Gerrard was due to undergo heart surgery in the coming days.

The Liverpool striker has been out of action since sustaining a cardiac arrest on December 15.

The news came hours after his girlfriend, Kylie, said she had been “saddened” by his death.
