Soccer star Neymar and other stars of the 2018 World Cup are being recruited by the World Cup’s star power to be part of the ESPN documentary series FIFA Skin.
“We are thrilled to have such a great fan base,” said ESPN Films head of documentaries Dan Futterman.
“I’m looking forward to the project.
I’m confident we will have some of the best soccer stars on the planet on the show.”
The documentary series will feature interviews with stars including Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Michael Bradley, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Futterman and the rest of ESPN’s soccer production team will be filming in Brazil this summer, including interviews with Neymar’s agent, Jorge Mendes, as well as other stars.
“This is a big day for ESPN, our football community and the world of soccer,” said FIFA.
“We’re excited to welcome some of our favorite stars from around the world to share their stories and the stories of their players.”
The project, called FIFA Skin, is produced by ESPN Films and ESPN Brazil.
ESPN Films will produce a four-episode documentary series titled FIFA Skin that will explore the history and history of the sport of soccer and the personalities and achievements of the players and coaches of the 20th and 21st centuries.
The series will premiere on ESPN in October.
